But that’s what change often looks like.
The good thing is - I know these moments of heightened frustration and they’re always followed by big breakthroughs for me. (Yup, I know that that’s my pattern, so that's a huge help.)
BUT I realized something important at that moment, too:
Even though it's frustrating, I know that it's just a question of time.
There's no doubt in my mind that the change I’m going for is going to happen.
Why, you might ask?
Because I put in the necessary work.
As a coach, I know how to structure & navigate these confusing change journeys - step-by-step, from start to finish.
I’ve set everything up… now I just need to stay at it and things will fall into place.
This is a perfectly normal stage of the process (even if it's frustrating as hell).
The important thing here, though, is that you actually did the work. That you identified the right path, took focused action, and then recognize the point where you need to allow things to unfold.
I do this constantly for my clients, and now I got to experience it for myself once more.
The problem is 90% of people don’t do this… most of us don’t even know what “the work” for such a change process even entails - so we leave things to lady luck or keep sabotaging our progress by second-guessing our choices. Which - fun fact - can keep you searching for forever.
